Ecobank Uganda’s Managing Director Mr. Clement Dodoo along with his Rwenzori House branch manager, Mr Daniel Katungi, visited us at the Tomosi Group headquarters at Portbell and they were received by Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo and Mr. Dan Kyobe.
Odrek commented; “Mr. Dodoo has an illustrious 21 years career with Ecobank in the bank's 30 years of existence. I was deeply impressed by the vision of the bank, its effort to integrate Africa's financial services and its humble beginnings from Togo. Entrepreneurs always have a way of fixing problems without complaining and getting solutions to intractable challenges. Africa's financial system and daily regional transactions were always cleared through Europe or the US. The late Thomas Hope from Togo started a process that created Africa's first truly continental bank when there was little acceptance of this idea. I was pleased to know and share in this story because the Tomosi Group vision rhymes pretty well with this. We are Made in Africa.”
